Soaking Grains Recipe Series Part 6: Pancakes

Makes 8 standard size pancakes.
½ C. Brown Flour
½ C. White Flour
Dump your flour into a large measuring bowl or medium size mixing bowl.
2 T. Olive Oil
1 ¼ C. Buttermilk (whole cultured)
2 t. Honey
Add wet ingredients to the flour and whisk until blended. Cover loosely and let sit in a warm place for 12-24 hours. (less time is better- unless you want sour pancakes!)
Ready to soak.

½ t. Salt
¼ t. Baking Soda
1 t. Baking Powder
1 Beaten Egg
Add this to the flour mixture. Whisk until blended.

After adding the rest of the ingredients.

Heat an oiled frying pan on stovetop on medium heat. When hot, pour ¼ C. of pancake batter onto pan and cook.

Continue until all of the batter is used.
